So I'm heading into town and see my oil pressure going down from 21lbs to 13.:: angry :: Stop in at first oil change place to get a look. Well the dipstick tube had came out when I checked my oil. Let me tell you it's a bitch to try and get in there with a hot manifold and turbo. No luck so I added oil and nursed her home with my eyes glued to the oil pressure gage.

Anyway there is a point to this story. The dipstick tube didn't have the little o-ring on it, and since it's not in the stock location didn't have a bracket to hold it in place.

Well I found a perfect bracket laying around in my "You might be a supra owner room! O-ring was easy to get at ACE. Still have to clean up the garage.

Consider yourself lucky. I've seen people lose motors over stuff like that. :nono:

Imagine losing a Keith Black Stage XV Hemi (that you couldn't afford but you bought anyway) to a rock that kicked up and knocked the belt off your dry sump/vac pump... Everyone who knows anything about motors and racing has told me that happening is nearly statistically impossible and that running a dry sump pretty much guarantees no oil system failures. Uh Huh...
